
He is form UK, he arrived here on last week of September 2003, he worked as an English teacher but beside English he taught Mathematic, Geography and physical education. He also taught English drama to the school kids. Student says he was the one of the best teacher they ever had. He stayed Nepal for 2.5 Months.

Tamara came here as an English teacher, she is form Holland she taught English in local school. She is one of our volunteer who has helped to established School Library in Dolphin school at Godavari. She brought lots of Interesting books to the school kids form England. She also taught drama to the school kids

Maria came here in Health and sanitation program. She worked in Godavari Village as an Acupuncturist. She had provided free Acupuncture treatment to the community people. Lots of people get benefited from her free treatment, lost of people still remember her. She stayed here for 2 .5 months.

Jason is from Sydney, he was here on 2006, he worked in VEEP for 2.5 months, during his time he taught english in the Local school of Lalitpur district. He was also involved different kind of activities like: football Tournament, Quiz contest, Drama etc.

Desiree is from Chicago, this is her second visit to Nepal she was here in 2005, on that time he did trekking around Mr. Everest region get involved in different activities as tourist, and she was so much impressed with Nepali people and its culture. So she decided to join VEEP Nepal to have different experience. She doesn’t want to involve in Touristy stuff this time so she has joined VEEP’s Teaching English programme.
During her placement she was involved in teaching not only English subject she also taught other subject as well and she had conducted school cleaning project in school. To make the school surrounding clean. The school was so dirty it has got paper and plastic all over the school play ground. All the kids and teacher get involved on that programme. Now every Friday they conduct school cleaning camping.
USA (2007)

A project has to increase people’s life standard in a culturally acceptable way. From a teacher’sperspective, community projects provide great lesson material. In general, there is a very positive interaction between educating and addressing the community.
